Having professional experience of more than two years in research and academics, Tamanna Tabassum has strong skill in quantitative econometric analysis. Prior to joining ULAB, she has taught as a full time lecturer of Economics at BRAC University for one year. She worked as a full time research associate of Health Economics at Brac James P Grant School of Public Health where she has contributed to the ‘Community led effective and responsive urban primary healthcare system’ in collaboration with London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and University of Leeds. She has also worked at Brac Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) as a Research Associate where she has done impact evaluation using randomized control trial (RCT) in the Ultra poor graduation model project of BRAC. She has been awarded with the Commonwealth Masters Scholarship for UK to pursue her second Masters under Global Development Institute of The University of Manchester which ranks among the top ten development research institutes of the world. Since her undergrad time, she has participated in a number of national and international conferences and has been awarded with best paper presenter award in the international platforms. Currently she is teaching at ULAB School of Business where she has joined in Summer 2023.
