ULAB Hosts Founders Museum Exhibition

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) hosted the inauguration of the American Founders Museum Exhibition, commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the United States, on August 17, 2026, at the D Building Lobby of the ULAB Permanent Campus. The exhibition was jointly organized by ULAB, the U.S. Embassy Dhaka, and the EMK Center. The inauguration was followed by an interactive session with students conducted by Richard Bruner, Deputy Director of Public Engagement, U.S. Embassy Dhaka. In his opening remarks, Richard Bruner highlighted the significance of the American Founders Museum Exhibition and emphasized the importance of understanding history, culture, and the enduring values that have shaped the United States. He also engaged with students during the interactive session and shared insights into the exhibition and its historical significance. The event was attended by Prof. Shamsad Mortuza, PhD, Vice Chancellor of ULAB, who appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of providing students with opportunities to engage with international cultural and historical perspectives. The event was also attended by deans of various schools, heads of departments, heads of different offices, faculty members, and students of ULAB. Representatives from the U.S. Embassy Dhaka and the EMK Center were also present at the occasion. The American Founders Museum Exhibition will remain open from August 17 to September 5, 2026, offering students, faculty members, and visitors an opportunity to explore the exhibition and learn more about the history and founding of the United States.
