CSE Students Visited Felicity IDC at Hi-Tech Park, Kaliakair

A group of 22 students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at ULAB, led by Mr. Anowarul Abedin, Senior Lecturer, visited Felicity IDC at Hi-Tech Park, Kaliakair on April 16, 2026, as part of their academic engagement to gain practical insights into data center operations and networking. The visit proved to be both inspiring and highly valuable for the students, offering real-world exposure to data center operations and industry practices. Although access to the data halls was restricted due to security protocols, the students expressed their understanding and respect for such measures.

The session was well-organized and informative, featuring engaging presentations and interactive discussions. The students and faculty expressed heartfelt gratitude to the entire Felicity IDC team, especially Mr. Samir Benjamin, AGM, and Mr. Mijanur Rahman, Admin & Revenue Assurance Lead, for their warm hospitality and for creating a welcoming and enriching environment throughout the visit. This industry visit reflects ULAB’s continued commitment to bridging academic learning with practical experience. The department looks forward to fostering future collaborations with Felicity IDC, recognizing it as a source of pride in Bangladesh’s growing ICT sector.
