Update on SAQS Accreditation

The ULAB School of Business (USB) commenced its SAQS (South Asian Quality Assurance System) Accreditation journey, administered by AMDISA (Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia), on 15 February 2025 with the submission of the SAQS Application Data Sheet. USB received the eligibility decision on 23 February 2025, following which work on the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) formally began.

 The first draft of the SAR was shared with the appointed mentor, Prof. T. S. Rama Krishna Rao, on 12 April 2025. Prof. Rao provided detailed guidance and feedback through six online Zoom sessions conducted between 24 and 30 June 2025. Incorporating this feedback, the SAR was revised and a subsequent draft was submitted to the mentor for final review on 10 December 2025. USB is currently awaiting the mentor’s feedback.

Upon incorporating the final comments, the completed SAR will be submitted to AMDISA in January 2026.
