ULAB EEE students visited Powertrac company at Gosinga, Gazipur to learn real-world and hands-on testing and experimental procedures and engineering techniques in the field of Power Systems, High Voltage Engineering, and Power System Protection. Students learned transformer testing, IR testing, megger testing, Insulation breakdown testing, Star-Delta phase voltage testing, short circuit testing, Copper loss calculations and testing, VCB, ACB, OCB, LBSd PFI corrections etc for overall power systems studies!
