Dear Graduates,

Eid Mubarak! I hope you and your family members are well.

Our plans for holding a physical convocation this year are looking very uncertain due to the continuing pandemic. Universities all over the world, including five of our local universities, are going for virtual convocations. The Government has also encouraged universities to hold virtual convocations.

In the interest of 3,000 plus graduates who are eagerly awaiting their graduation certificates and final transcripts, ULAB has decided to hold a virtual convocation. Our target date is 30 June 2021, which is subject to the approval of the Honourable University Chancellor and President of Bangladesh.

The e-Convocation will have a formal part and a fun part, using the Zoom platform. We will send you the hats (mortarboard), sashes, gift packs and food boxes. Given the changed situation, the convocation registration fee has been reduced to Tk 3,000 per student from Tk 6,500 in 2019.

We realise that no convocation is complete without a photograph of each graduate in a gown. We will organise professional photography sessions in the Permanent Campus later this year when it is safe for graduates and their parents to visit the campus.

The Convocation Registration will be done online following the link given below:
