“Skills 4 Career” Summer-2017 held at ULAB Campus

ULAB Career Services Office (CSO) presents “Skills for Career” at the ULAB Permanent Campus, Ramchandrapur on 10 August and 17 August at ULAB Campus B. The program is designed with career development workshops to introduce students to Employable Skills, show the Career Entry Strategies and prepare them to cope with Organizational Culture.

Students participated in different activities to sharpen their knowledge on Career Planning, Time Management, Networking Skills, Communications & Interpersonal Skills, Team Building Skills, Job Analysis and Interview tips and Job search techniques.

62 students participated in the first day of the 2 day long program from across the departments. 7 teams were formed for the Spider Net games as a team. Attractive prizes were awarded to three lucky winners based on the criteria’s of Best Performance, Best Timing and Team Skills.

Fahima Akter, Director, Masco Group and conducted the workshop on Job Opportunity at garments sectors and shared her corporate experiences and life stories to encourage the students and to take the upcoming global challenges in RMG sectors in positive phenomena.

Ashique Mahmood Adnan, Sr. Lecturer ,School of Business (USB), ULAB summarized Career Planning, ,Networking Skills, Communications & Interpersonal Skills, Job Analysis, Cover Letter writing and Interview tips to the students.

Abu Rasel, Director of Career Services Office and Niaz Morshed Patwary, Assistant Professor, ULAB USB handed over certificates to the participants.
