Mission:
To promote programming as a culture to excel the inherent qualities of the students; to attain world-class problem solving skills, to pursue professional grooming as Software Engineers, and to position Bangladesh as the champion of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) World Finals. Moreover, it also wants to promote dissemination of IT knowledge and state-of-the-art technology, to improve mathematical knowledge and skills and to promote cyber gaming and game designing.

Brief Description:
The ULAB Computer Programming Club (UCPC) was established before the National Computer Programming Contest (NCPC) held at ULAB in October, 2008. Its primary goal is to prepare the students for the programming contests. In progress with the time, the club has emerged as the leader in introducing the students with the ICT industry through participation at national and international contests and expositions. Now the club members not only participating in the programming contests but also striving for excellence to cope up with the upcoming challenges in the job market. The members of the club participate in the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) SoftExpo and other similar events. We are organizing programming workshops in every Saturday, one for the beginners which is conducted by the senior students. Another workshop for the advanced programmers is conducted by Professional Trainer with expertise in programming contest and who also serves as Software Engineer of a reputed organization and Google Code Jam Contestant.

Programming, Software Development, organize Technical Seminars and Workshops, conduct ICT surveys & related cultural events, mathematical Olympiads, cyber gaming, IT information sessions, science fiction and science related movie screening, etc.
