We would like to welcome you and your guardians to the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), one of the most unique programs in all the private universities in Bangladesh.

Please look around our exciting and dynamic Web Portal, the only Web 2.0 portal of any university in Bangladesh. Once you become a ULABian, you will be able to log in and join the dynamic online community of fellow students and faculty.

Please note the list of "Quick Links" on the left which will help you find answers to your most pressing questions about ULAB.

ULAB has many elite programs of study, including:
  • Business Administration
  • Computer Science and Engineering
  • Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering
  • English and Humanities
  • Media Studies and Journalism

And in our Graduate School:
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA)

What makes ULAB so unique, however, is our "Liberal Arts" focus on the fundamentals of a proper and well-rounded education. To that end, all students are required to take General Education courses in addition to their major course of study.

The choice of General Education Courses includes:
  • English
  • Bangla Bhasha
  • Computer Studies
  • Bangladesh Studies
  • World Civilization
  • Ethics
  • Philosophy
  • Film History
  • Archaeology of Bangladesh
  • And many more!

What is Liberal Arts? It is just that – a focus on the foundational knowledge and skills needed by any graduate to be globally competitive. Based on the American system of education, Liberal Arts trains students in a range of intellectual skills (not just in a narrow band of specialty) in order to make them dynamic and flexible life-long learners. <read more about Liberal Arts>

Welcome again. We look forward to seeing you soon.
