ULAB organized its 5th annual day-long Book Fair at its own Dhanmondi Campus. 15 different organizations, publishers & suppliers participated at the fair. Mr. Emdadul Haque Milon, Renowned Writer and Acting Editor, The Daily Kalerkantho, was present as the chief guest and opened the Fair.

ULAB Vice Chancellor, Professor Imran Rahman spoke on the occasion and gave vote of thanks. Dr. Rafiqul Islam, Professor Emeritus, and Professor Abdul Mannan also spoke on the occasion.

Among others from ULAB, Professor Mohit-ul-Alam, Head of English and Humanities (DEH), Professor Milan Kumar Bhattacharjee, Head, School of Business Administration, Professor Sazzad Hossain, Head of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Professor H. M. Jahirul Hoque, Director, Academic Affairs, Khaled Khan, Registrar, ULAB and other Senior Faculty Members, students and staff were present at the occasion.

Mr. Hasan Emam, Deputy Librarian, ULAB conducted the inaugural session. Mr. Anis Pervez, Associate Professor, Media Studied and Journalism (MSJ) and Coordinator, Library Affairs delivered welcome address.

Books were sold on 15%-35% discount and the fair was open to all.
