GPIT visits Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and holds a talk on July 26. The event titled "Meet the Leaders of GPIT" was very much effective to give ULAB CSE students a projection of real life IT working environment and to be informed about desired qualities to have success in IT career.

ULAB is very much thankful to GPIT for this step and according to GPIT, it will include ULAB in it's university alliance program. At the beginning of the talk Ms. Jahrat Adib Chowdhury, Head of Legal & Corporate Affairs, GPIT gave an overview on GPIT. Later Mr. Masum Ahmed, Deputy general Manager, Technology, GPIT talked about the trend in technology domain and opportunity for Bangladesh. He emphasized that students should be focused on a specific domain and be active learner. At the end, Mr. Md. Tareq, Head of Competence Development, GPIT spoke about career planning in IT.

Dr. Jahirul Haque, Dean of School of Engineering and Director of Academic Affairs, Dr. Sazzad Hossain, Head of the Dept. of CSE,  Dr. R.A.K. Majumdar, Head of the Dept. of ETE were present during this talk. Dr. Hossain stressed the need for collaboration between industry and universities and the need for gender equality among IT professionals in his concluding speech.
