Department of ETE organized Freshers' Orientation of Summer 2012 on the date of  14 June 2012 (Thursday) at ULAB Auditorium (Campus A). Prof. Dr. A. H. M Asadul Huq inaugurated the program by his welcoming speech.Prof. Dr. H.M. Jahirul Huq, Director of Academic affairs and Prof.Dr. Muhammad Shorif Uddin, Adviser of ETE gave their inspirational speech to motivate the freshers' towards their new journey at ULAB & for furture.All the faculties of ETE department were present  there as well.

The freshers' were welcomed cordially with flowers and gifts. A documentary based on the academic & extra curricular activities of ETE was exhibited.The orientation program was anchored by Suraiya Hossain & Tarif Mohammad Khan and comprised of songs, dance, group dance,drama, jokes etc.  Overall the program was very enjoyable & charismatic.
