 ISD & Sustainable Development Club are inaugurating the ULAB Women’s Week 2011 on Sunday, 6th March 2011. This year, we will collect handprints from women who have faced various difficulties in their life, especially "’for being a woman". Handprints will be preserved in a banner, which is hanging at the entrance of Campus A. Students of SD club, and ISD faculties will collect handprints everyday, especially from 10am to 1pm.
The ULAB Women’s week will continue from 6th to 10th March (Sun-Thu) 2011. At the conclusion of the week, ISD and SD Club will organize a seminar where this banner will be displayed.
I request all respected faculties and colleagues to encourage us and our students (who are interested to contribute) in Women’s Week activities. |
