Screening of "Becoming Jane" on March 22

DEH is going to screen the film "Becoming Jane" on 22 March at 11:30 am in ULAB Auditorium. It is a part of the regular academic activity the department has introduced recently to strengthen students’ understanding of literature in a visual form. The films so far screened and to be screened are either based on famous literary pieces or lives of great writers or some dominant issues and events that had influenced literature immensely. This particular film is based on the life of Jane Austen, a famous novelist of pre-Victorian era, and the way she became a writer.
