Students from the ULAB course "Introduction to Political Thought" conducted the research under the direction of their instructor, Dr. Rathana peou van den Heuvel. Around 150 women were interviewed during the 3 months of active research. As the students encountered the women in field, they were faced with a new reality, even for a Bangladeshi undergrad. This Exhibition reflects the fights, or rather journeys, of these spirited women.
The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) is the only university with Active Learning enshrined in its core values. Active Learning is a style of teaching which believes that the student learns best when he or she is actively engaged in the learning process. By taking students out of their comfort zone to explore deeper issues of their communities, they will become better overall citizens of the country. |
