Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN)
ULAB is an Institutional Member of the The Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN). APQN has been developed with the purpose of serving the needs of quality assurance agencies in higher education in a region that contains over half the world’s population.
Its mission is "to enhance the quality of higher education in Asia and the Pacific region through strengthening the work of quality assurance agencies and extending the cooperation between them." Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) ![]() The Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges is the sustainability champion for universities and colleges in the UK. The Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges was launched in 1996 with the aim of raising the profile of environmental management and facilitate improvement of environmental performance in member institutions. ULAB has secured an EAUC Membership Certificate, for the period of 1 May 2010 to 1 May 2011. Asian Media Information and Communication Centre (AMIC)
Registered in Singapore, AMIC has the mission "to nurture and promote Media and Communication research, capacity building, knowledge management and dialogue among academia, industry, government and civil society." Its vision is "To be the premier Asia–centred institution for Media and Communication education, research and professional development."
International Communication Association (ICA)
ULAB is an Institutional Member of the International Communication Association, which aims to advance the scholarly study of human communication by encouraging and facilitating excellence in academic research worldwide. The purposes of the Association are (1) to provide an international forum to enable the development, conduct, and critical evaluation of communication research; (2) to sustain a program of high quality scholarly publication and knowledge exchange; (3) to facilitate inclusiveness and debate among scholars from diverse national and cultural backgrounds and from multi-disciplinary perspectives on communication-related issues; and (4) to promote a wider public interest in, and visibility of, the theories, methods, findings and applications generated by research in communication and allied fields. AMDIB is a national network, professional association, and is a SAARC Recognised Body with the purpose of helping ensure continuous improvement in quality of management education and management development. The association caters to faculty and institutional development needs of its members.
The Global Alliance for PR and Communication Management
GA is the confederation of the world's major PR and communication management associations and institutions, representing about 160,000 practitioners and academics around the world. The Global Alliance's mission is to unify the public relations profession, raise professional standards all over the world, share knowledge for the benefit of its members and be the global voice for public relations in the public interest. The Global Alliance works on the cooperative efforts of communication professionals to tackle common problems with a global perspective. By partnering with regional, national and international bodies to increase professionalism in Public Relations and Communication Management, this Alliance works to enhance the influence of the industry among its constituents around the world.
